NABR is the only national nonprofit organization exclusively advocating for policies that support the responsible use of animals in biomedical research, education, and product safety testing. Founded in 1979, NABR serves as the unified voice of the scientific community on legislative and regulatory issues, representing over 350 institutions, including universities, medical and veterinary schools, teaching hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies.
