Traditional fixed housing systems often limit research flexibility and complicate maintenance routines. You need a solution that can adapt to changing study requirements while ensuring animal welfare.
Our Modular Guinea Pig Housing Unit offers secure, easy-to-maintain living spaces that meet research and regulatory requirements.
Designed with a floor area of 4.2 or 5.0 square feet, the system offers standard configurations of 5, 8, or 12 cages. Select from various ergonomically friendly floor and door configurations to accommodate single, pair, or group housing needs.
Three thermoplastic floor configurations provide a durable, lightweight, and warm surface:
Full Perforation: Maximizes waste deflection.
Corner Perforation: Provides targeted waste management.
Solid Floor: Ideal for settings where a lower excreta pan is not required.
Smooth perforated flanged holes ensure animal comfort while directing waste into an excreta pan (when using perforated floors). Units featuring two cages wide include removable center panels, allowing you to expand or reduce animal access areas horizontally with ease.
Drawer-Style Floors: Offer easier access and are available in ABS (washable at 180°F/82°C) or polycarbonate (autoclavable at 250°F/121°C).
Door Options: Hinge-free floor-mounted doors conserve workspace and offer ergonomic access. Traditional hinge-style doors are also available. Doors are removable, hold one or two water bottles, and support multiple feeder options, including stainless steel J-style feeders, external box feeders, or thermoplastic J-style feeders.
Designed for rack washers, the welded stainless steel frame ensures leak-tight durability and ergonomic handling.
Lightweight plastic floors and pans are easy to remove, stackable for space efficiency, and minimize noise during use or transport.
The modular cage approach supports housing for various species, including rabbits, ferrets, poultry, and cats. Dimensions can be tailored to suit species-specific needs.
House multiple species in one system by swapping modular components such as feeders, floors, and watering systems. Configure the system for multi-species housing at the time of manufacture for ultimate adaptability.
Ready to optimize your animal housing with a flexible, efficient solution? Our team can help you configure the perfect system for your facility's needs.
